Since 1993, European Watch Company has lived one principle: earn trust by doing right for the customer, every time. What began as a modest selection of Swiss wristwatches has grown, deliberately and steadily, into one of America’s leading full-service watch retailers—built by my family and me on integrity, accountability, and genuine care. We stand behind every piece, every handshake, and every promise.
Instead of chasing trends, we chose to remain devoted to enduring design and timeless craftsmanship from the most respected manufacturers. That philosophy guides everything we do: we don’t think of ourselves as selling watches, we build relationships. By treating each customer as we would a dear friend, we’ve earned the respect of collectors globally and now count friends in more than seventy countries.

I’m a computer scientist and engineer by training who turned a passion for horology into a vocation in 1993. Those early days featured pieces priced from $800 to $2,000, at a time when the market for fine timepieces wasn’t widely understood.
While browsing our website, you’ll notice that most of our pieces are pre-owned. In our flagship showroom on Newbury Street, we maintain a full restoration and repair department that meticulously tests, services, and, when appropriate, sympathetically restores each timepiece.
We source inventory from clients selling or trading in their watches and from trusted dealers worldwide, and we’re known for offering competitive, market-reflective values on trade-ins. Every watch we offer is prepared for immediate overnight shipment and includes a one-year warranty.
Over the decades, we’ve helped thousands of customers find the right watch and build meaningful collections. It has, and continues to be, a privilege to serve this community and to witness the growing appreciation for fine watchmaking year after year.
