A computer scientist and engineer by trade, I turned my passion for watches into a new career in 1993 by founding European Watch Company, originally beginning with only a modest selection of Swiss wristwatches. Those first watches ranged in price from only $800 to $2,000 at a time when the market for fine timepieces was not well understood or avidly followed. Yet I always made the decision to not follow fashion and to avoid trends, remaining devoted to exquisite design and timeless craftsmanship by the most prestigious manufacturers.

The most important thing to me is the integrity of the company, which my family and I have built slowly over time by always doing what is right for the customer. My vision is such that we at European Watch Company do not sell watches - we build relationships . And by treating each customer as I would a dear friend, we have earned the trust and respect of watch connoisseurs throughout the world. Today we are one of the finest full-service watch retailers in the United States, and I am honored to have many friends in more than 72 countries. Each of the nearly twenty times I’ve attended the Basel Watch Fair, I am pleased to see the artistry and demand for higher-end watches increase year by year.

While browsing our website, you will find that the majority of our watches are pre-owned. In our flagship showroom on Newbury Street, we maintain a full restoration and repair department that meticulously tests, services and, if required, restores timepieces. Our inventory comes variously from individuals who sell outright, from dealers located around the world, as well as clients availing themselves of our expertise to trade in their watches for something new. We welcome trade-ins and we are regarded for offering the highest values. Every watch in our inventory is ready for immediate shipment overnight with a warranty for one year.
