Adam's Grail

Where you’re from:
Providence, Rhode Island
The first watch that moved you:
Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso
Why:
I've always loved complex mechanical marvels, and seeing a JLC Reverso in action for the first time completely shifted my perspective on what a watch could be. I was in complete awe of a simple transformation that pushed the boundaries of a timepiece.
Day-to-day at EWC:
As a product photographer, I have the privilege of handling and photographing the most extraordinary and rare pieces in the world.
Grail:
Watches with a story tend to become my grail pieces. Even though it is the first watch that moved me, the JLC Reverso is also a grail for me. I love that that watch began essentially as a challenge from a polo player who wanted a watch that, for obvious reasons, needed to have a protective case. Another grail for me is a 1960s Omega Speedmaster. As the first watch to go to the moon, that’s pretty incredible!
The world should know:
I am in the unrelenting pursuit of the best food in the world. I hold no bars and will stop at nothing to find the restaurant that achieves (the probably impossible) 10/10 on my restaurant grading scale.
