Where you’re from:
Born in Almeria, Spain but I moved to New York City with my family at age 13.
The first watch that moved you:
My grandfather's Patek Philippe 5738
Why:
It was always on his wrist for all the family's special events; births, baptisms, and weddings. It only came off to sleep and trips to the beach.
Day-to-day:
We deal with clients and staff on repairing timepieces and obtaining parts from brands for all watches sold here. This also follows the after-sales aspect of our business.
Grail:
Rolex Daytona. The engineering of this piece is truly form and function in one.
The world should know:
After receiving my bachelor's degree in education from the University of Alabama, I returned home to work part-time for an iconic NYC retailer and have worked in retail management ever since. You were right, Dad, interacting with clients is just more exciting than teaching American history!
Bonus:
Before coming to the US from Spain, my grandfather gave me an old Rolex on a strap, which ignited a lifelong interest in timepieces.
