Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso 2400, circa 1947, stainless steel on a strap with a stainless steel buckle, manual wind movement, gold dial with applied gold baton markers, small seconds at 6 o'clock, the reverse side features a solid case-back, size: 38.5 x 23mm, thickness: 8.4mm, plexiglass crystal. This classic watch was designed for British military officers stationed in India who needed a watch to wear while playing polo and is widely recognized as the first sports watch.
