Description

Rolex 5508 Submariner Small Crown Gilt, stainless steel on a stainless steel rivet USA bracelet dated 1-1969, the stainless steel case is in excellent condition with lugs that are full and sharp, automatic Rolex caliber 1530 movement, the gilt dial is incredibly glossy and clean, a very charming creamy patina on both the dial and hands which match perfectly, gilt chapter ring and print, "exclamation point" at 6 o clock indicating lower radium levels than earlier 5508 dials, nicely faded bezel, circa late 1950s, small crown, size 37.5, thickness 12.3mm, Excellent Condition for an early Rolex Submariner reference with European Watch Company travel pouch.
